Sclerotherapy is the process of injecting a liquid agent through a tiny needle directly into your spider veins, causing them to contract and collapse. The number of sessions required depends on the depth, number, and size of the veins being treated. Treatments are usually performed every 4 to 6 weeks, so that the affects of the previous week’;s treatment can be accurately evaluated before injecting more. You may need to wear gradient compression stockings after Sclerotherapy to help with the healing process and to decrease the swelling.

Laser therapy involves a light energy being delivered through a small laser hand piece to the targeted vein in a series of brief pulses. The light energy is absorbed by the lining of the blood vessels and the heat generated causes clotting of the blood, which is subsequently absorbed by the body. Only very small superficial veins are treated with a laser and no anesthetic is required for this treatment. If new veins appear, additional treatments are required for optimum results.

FACIAL INJECTIONS FOR WRINKLE REDUCTION

In this skin tightening treatment, the laser beam heats the deep dermis and contracts the loose/lax collagen fibers, whilst stimulating the fibroblast to produce more collagen.
