How can skin lesions be treated?
Skin lesions can be treated in different ways depending on the type of lesion, how large it is, if infection is present and other factors. Treatment may involve the application of topical creams, oral medications, laser and, in the most severe cases, surgery. Normally, a biopsy will be taken to rule out any potentially dangerous conditions or the presence of malignant cells prior to a bespoke treatment plan being created.
The first step is to make an appointment for a consultation with one of Cocoona’s experienced dermatologists, who will be able to advise in line with your individual case.
How much does it cost to treat or remove lesions?
The costs will vary depending on the form of treatment required, the size of the area or areas to be treated, the severity of the lesion and a number of other factors. For an accurate cost assessment, you will need to book an initial consultation with one of our experienced dermatologists.
